Hi, I’m Lisse! I identify as queer and believe strongly in reclaiming that word.

I have made sort of a mess of my life up until now, trying things that didn’t lead me where I wanted to be. I’m trying to get myself back on track, trying to build a successful career following the one dream I’ve always had: writing. There will be many mistakes made and plenty of hurdles to leap over along the way, but I’m going to try my best. I want to write engaging, entertaining, and hopefully relevant books, and if I can make my living as a writer one day, that will be a dream come true.

That dream is a long way off right now, but I’m not giving up.

A Note on Social Media:

Although I know how popular Twitter and Facebook are, you won’t find me on most social media. I have nothing against it, but social media is just not my thing. I admire the people who can keep up with it, but I don’t have the time or energy to jump into a couple different accounts frequently enough to make it worthwhile. So, even if you find someone on there with a name that looks like mine, it’s not me. My only online presence other than my author profile on Amazon will be here on this site.

I know that in a way, this decreases the ability for any fans or critics to interact with me and that’s not my intention. I absolutely want to hear from you.
